Performance

Crysis Warhead: Medium all, 1024 * 768 i think, the one that sounds like that, except mebbe in 16:10. Wat else? Oh lol fps. Well, I'm not sure, but I'm guessing around 45ish, cause theres no visible lag, even in intense firefights :) fps spoiled like pranav, and graphics okay cause of my res

Burnout Paradise: Either this game's optimization sux more than melissa (haha jk), or my video card suddenly downgraded to a [insert Pranav's vaio's graphix card] mobile edition. Srly, low settings i get playable, no lag whatsoever, but medium and i get lag in intense scenes, like takedowns and races, among others. THIS GAME IS AWESOME, but poorly optimized

Civilization 4: I play, but its not all that addicting. Full settings, and no lag; cept mebbe in those weird like "u invented sumthin new" scenes. Otherwise quite nice

Madden 2008: LOL lagging on this game? only on MY powersaving mode. Cough 10 % cpu, max pcie slot power savings cough. Anyways, its nice, runs smoothly, nothing too fancy tho.

Battery Life

HAHA i remember michael's old laptop. 6 minutes? that sux quite a bit. i get 6-8 hours on my 6-cell, and around 11-12 on a 9 cell. Only used it that long once, and still had a bit of power left, so iono but SOMEONE LOVES ME UP THERE!!!

I think I'm done, back to studying for chem and lookin up possible video cards or psu's

Computer Upgrading :P

As I said earlier, I likes my bike... a lot. So no more upgradin that, cause ima content with my bike. So... What to save up for now? Hmm... Lets look at the title :) My Vostro mebbe? Ya... Quad-core matched with a underclocked 3450 - totally matching parts. I've got a 300 dollar budget, tho im trying to stay under 200, or 150, or 100. Well, im azn; what can I say...

So, things to upgrade:

Graphics Card:
Ya 3450 sux pretty badly... So I'm thinking of replacing it

Options:
Sub-$100 : 9800 GT
Sub-$150 : 9800 GTX+
Sub-$200 : GTX 260

Of course, Im also a tree-hugger, hence the no ATI graphix cards, so the 9800 GT is quite appealing rite nao. Obviously, all my friends are encouraging me to get the GTX 260, or even the 280, but those take helluva loads of power. I'm still debating, and will be for the next...5ish months? I mean, i only have the break in april to game, but other than that, no gaming till after i come back from Taiwan.

Power Supply:
Since I'm getting a new graphics card, I think I should also get a new power supply. My current one is like way worse than Vincent's, and hes running a single core and a 9500. I think my comp would take maybe? just a bit more power. Key word there btw... "bit" more power :P So, I'm considering a bunch of them, from the corsair ones to the antec ones to the ocz ones. All I really need is a 400 W legit power supply, and around 30 combined amps on the 2+ 12V rails. Lots of specs i suppose, but the price range for my specs is around 40. Not too shabby :)

I think I'm done for nao. Back to poetry and tryin to find out wtf meter does for a poem!
